Ed has a design background but has gradually gravitated towards database design and server-side programming via many things in-between.
Rob discovered Flash at university and once it became apparent that you could make games with it his attention and energy have been somewhat diverted.
Jon comes from a background in 3D modelling and texturing. Jon found Flash at pretty much the same time as Rob and it made a pleasant change from C++.
